Profile of Janis Mennie

I trained at Glasgow School of Art from 1967 – 1971, then after a year at teacher training college, taught at various schools until 2002, until profound deafness forced me into retirement and thus to painting professionally.

Over the last couple of years I have moved from fairly representational work to semi-abstract and more personal as well as larger painting!
