Profiles of Artists exhibiting at The Beauly Gallery
Profile of Andy Gray
Andy Gray is a photographic artist living and working in Scotland. Using digital capture and computer software, he has developed a technique now trademarked as phoTEX™. The process involves working with multiple images layered together, and includes the enhancement of perspective and the introduction of textures to produce a uniquely three-dimensional effect. The pictures on display at The Beauly Gallery mainly feature classic mountain panoramas.
Many of Scotland's best-known views are included, and most come with an interpretation panel showing mountain names and heights.
