Christine O'Keeffe Exotic Beauty

May features new works within Beauly Gallery from Janis Mennie who draws inspiration from the Highland landscape, the ever changing weather and general rural life. She depicts these works in her familiar contemporary style which occasionally edges towards abstract.

Christine O'Keeffe and Eileen Addly also exhibit in this mixed exhibition. Christine's collectable works take a new twist with some figurative pieces included within the body of our Spring exhibition. Alongside Christine will be Eileen showing some more of her wonderful Highland scenes. Eileen has included two large works both views from her Culloden home - executed in pretty tones and shades, perfect for Spring.

Our May exhibition also includes a selection of originals from: Vicky Stonebridge, Fiona Mackenzie and Suzanne Gyseman all exhibiting paintings with fantasy inspired origins alongside David Body showing his colourful illustrutive works. If you are a regular to Beauly Gallery you will be familiar with Hana Walls' range of wall plaques and standing blocks which depict local views. Each piece is hand-painted in acrylic with remarkable precision. Hana has an eye for seeking and a talent for capturing the quirkiness of a place using a variety of styles to create these mini works of art. These intricate originals proved very popular with last year's holiday makers and we anticipate the same for 2011.

Cream Teas are back, YUM!. Summer menu making an appearance shortly.
