Things to look forward to for April and May.

Christine O'Keeffe - Autumnal Hedgerow

April

A pretty selection of new works by Christine O'Keeffe. These pieces herald a change in direction for Christine, a complete contrast from her usual distinctive style. Several of these new works sees Christine experimenting with colourwash and some printing techniques giving an almost dreamlike effect with the use of a pastel toned palette.

Also showing are an intimate selection of new pieces by Morag Muir. Morag works with rich colours, building up layers of patterns giving a tapesty like effect. Often ethereal in appearance, they are a real conversation piece.

Janis Mennie shows a large selection of her framed prints depicting life in and around the Black Isle. Ever-popular these prints are a sure hit with our customers, giving a real insight into Janis's wonderful sense of humour.

May

Beauly Gallery takes us on an exploration of the rugged coast line around the Highlands and Islands with an exhibition featuring new works by local artists Jenny Hepburn, Fiona McKenzie and printmaker Louise Worthy. Alongside you can view a selection of driftwood sculptures of a quirky nature, handmade in Beauly, by local artist Laura Husher.

Don't forget our Small & Square exhibition, celebrating 10 years of Beauly Gallery, continues during April and May.
