In the same building and right next to the Gallery you will find The Kirk Coffee Shop where you can sample a range of specialist coffees (and teas!) and a mouthwatering selection of cakes, pastries, light meals and biscuits.

Please note however, the menu is constantly changing, so all items may not be available at all times, though there will always be lots of alternatives.

The opening times for the Kirk Coffee Shop are the same as for the Gallery which are:

We are open seven days per week, and most bank holidays except Christmas & New Year.
* The word "Kirk" means Church in Scots and is probably derived from the German word "Kirche" also meaning Church. The building was de-consecrated in the 1960s and lay dormant and near ruined for more than 20 years before being totally restored and refurbished in 2004/5.
