Sharon McAllister
Sharon graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA HONS in Textile Design in 1981 and for the following 15 years pursued a career in commercial design, supplying some of the UK's leading retailers, identifying design trends and sourcing product across Europe, America and the Far East.

A move to the Highlands of Scotland in 2001 precipitated a desire to rejoin a personal creative journey. Inspired by the vivid, organic natural palette of textures and colours that surround her home, high above the Moray Coast, a visual, pictorial tactile weave of paint and light form her current focus of response to these dramatic surroundings.
